A few years ago, we installed a router on t op of the Splinter warehouse to share their existing internet connection w ith neighbors. Now we're going to connect that router to the broader mesh!
If you've been curious about the Mesh or interested in getting your home connected, this event is a great chance to learn more about how our network works and how we make new connections, particularly if you're in t he Dunbar Spring neighborhood.
You could get on the roof to help us install and align the router, see how we test the connection inside, or ju st hang out and ask questions about the mesh. We'll have a short presentat ion and discussion about the political implications of our network and a h ands-on activity about some wireless internet skills and concepts.
